3M post-it stop motion
By Pat Law™ • Jun 14th, 2009 • Category: The Digital StrategistEver lead a life governed by the post-it notes surrounding you, each reminding you of a task you should’ve completed yesterday? Daunting, isn’t it? This 3M post-it notes stop motion video produced by Savannah College of Art and Design student Bang-yao Liu echoes and amplifies that sentiment further.
The two-minute video took 3 months of planning, 4 days of shooting, and over 6,000 post-it notes to produce. Imagine that. I’ll be on Cloud 9 if I’m the brand manager of 3M. Then again, the last time someone created a massive viral campaign voluntarily for 3M that spread faster than H1N1, 3M apparently responded by carjacking the poor bugger’s concept. I hope they wise up this time.
Don’t be thieves, guys. We love you, but respect our love for you too.
