  1. omg i so needed this 20 years ago. I shudder when i think about all my lost loaned-out books. :(

  2. Never too late jo, and while you’re at it, can I borrow some? ;)

  3. hey! i have one of these! i got it at my favorite stationary shop in New Orleans.
I use it for my movies that people borrow. I switch out the “personal library” cards as the movies are taken/returned.
instead of “return by” i wrote “taken on”…. seems a little less militant.
i keep the “title/author” card with me and write down the borrower’s name, movie titles, and date.
it was funny to my friends at first, but they definitely appreciate why i do this. I am able to keep track on paper instead of wondering “damn…. where is my ‘Harold and Maude’ ?” Right now i have 9 movies out, and i know how to find them. :)
my tactile self loves the whole process of checking in and out and stamping.
thanks for sharing this and letting me rant about about something i enjoy (too much, maybe).

Say something.
