naughty cards

“No, this is too rude,”

“No, our target audience is not ready for this,”

“No, women are too demure to talk like that,”

“No, I haven’t got the balls to do anything my closest competitor hasn’t done yet,”

Former tag team from Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, Christine Montaquila and Courtney Weinberg, have probably heard them all. Tired of churning out campaigns after campaigns for women’s brands they loved that never saw daylight, the duo decided to craft their own voice and look that retained such harsh and brutal honesty, talking to women the way women would talk to women.

Everyone, meet Naughty Betty. I wonder how my ex-clients from the beauty industry will react if I’m to send them these cards…

For the other half you mostly love.
happy birthday to you, my mostly better half

Because you’re such a fag hag.
happy birthday, to my most fabulous, but unavailable, guy friend

For new mothers you now have for friends.
mother

For that stupid friend who didn’t insist on a condom.

mother

Get well soon, you fucking skiver.
skiver

I can’t do this without you. Really.
