blankanvas in chinese

I was particularly proud of being interviewed by Lian He Zao Bao, alongside with both Claudia and Howie, because for the first time ever,  I could present an article my Chinese-speaking parents could read and hence beam with pride.

Or so I thought.

Mum ended up using the article as poo paper for my dog whilst Dad took the extra copy I bought into the toilet for company in his usual evening release. First doggy poo, then human poo. Trust Chinese parents to keep you grounded.

    and egokillers.

  2. Haha, I get what you mean. Chinese parents have a way of downplaying their children’s achievements, well, at least in front of them. :i

Say something.
