A Prayer arrived
By Pat Law™ • May 4th, 2008 • Category: The Narcissist

Couture with conscience arrived in an unassuming cardboard box on Friday. Hailing from La Jolla, California, or so the label said, a tee-shirt laid beneath uttered:
A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages.
Yes, Tennesse Williams guilty as charged as my astute wife pointed out.
About a month ago, I wrote about a cult brand called Quiet Hero, and featured a couple of their beautifully weaved tee-shirts, made out of 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton blends. While they absolutely did not have to, they took the initiative to ship me a limited edition t-shirt of my choice. With compliments and appreciation for my promotion of their brand. Now how many snobbish cult brands would do that?
I couldn’t resist wearing A Prayer out today at Haji Lane. The bamboo | cotton fabric glides comfortably along the contours of my upper body and it cuts in such a manner, it almost feels formal enough for a client presentation.
While I agree the tees aren’t exact price competitive, I realise you do pay for quality. I haven’t seen a tee-shirt that feels and looks like this. It helps to also know that part of the proceeds for each tee you purchase goes to Operation Quiet Hero, a charity project born from the vision of helping children injured from war zones. Their way of giving back, and making a difference with their money, as they strongly believe.
Thank you, Quiet Hero. You made my day.
