htc touch pro

Apart from its Windows Mobile 6.1 professional platform (urgh, sorry, one Palm 750v not-too-smart phone was enough to put me off), I have to say, the latest HTC jewel, the HTC Touch Pro, is looking quite fuckalicious.

This baby features a whopping 2.8” VGA screen, Windows Mobile 6.1 professional with HTC TouchFLO’s 3D interface, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, 512MB of internal memory, 288MB of RAM, a microSD slot, GPS, a 1350 mAh battery, TV output, and Bluetooth.

Available in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in late summer. You people from North and South America have to wait just a bit longer. The phone will reach your shores closer to Christmas.

Hmm. I like my iPhone better.

  1. Pat your closing remark honestly should be MUCH MUCH more common (in its general form) among web authors (see I didn’t write “experts” - because most of them are self appointed experts).

For example I like Touch Pro better than iPhone. But that’s just me.

I am sick and tired of people not only evaluating (this far is ok), but then having us to agree with their decision (which after all is almost all the time biased before they even start evaluating).

I used an iPhone for a month. Loved it (yes cracked, many extra apps, don’t tell anyone). It was still “just a nice (and EFFECTIVE) phone” and a very nice “show off”. In *my* opinion, it doesn’t come close to a full fledged WM phone, after you start having real demands.

But, that’s just me. Sorry for the rant, your closing remark triggered it and really we should read that phrase (again in the general form) much more.

  2. NLS, boy do you sound a bit disgruntled. Hmm, not getting some of late?

I don’t quite get your beef but I gather you have an issue with me liking my iPhone better to the HTC Touch Pro. You have an issue with my personal preference because you reckon my readers haven’t got an opinion of their own and would agree with me because I said so? Blimey, that’s flattering but quite an insult to my readers if you ask me.

Go get some now before you start losing friends.

Say something.
