what is your label

Education brands in Singapore, save for LASALLE who’ve been consistent always, are ironic in the sense that while they brag of their apparent creativity, the very execution in which holds their chest-beating messages looks like utter crap. Oh, enough of the bloody testimonials already.

You’re starting to look like a slimming centre advertisement. Frankly, your alumni aren’t quite as aspirational as Steve Jobs, plus they look like shit.

This flyer I’ve spotted in one of the stores at Haji Lane yesterday came as a nice surprise. Serving the same objectives as the other education brands and their recruitment campaigns, the School of Communication + Design manages to deliver not just one, but 3 different tactical promotions targeting at 3 different audiences, without looking like utter crap. The other brands should really learn from these guys. For once, a recruitment campaign from an education brand that doesn’t look like communism with nicer shoes.

  1. Hey Pat,

The ads looked interesting so I went to have a little click around the website. Is it just me or is their website… not functioning?

  2. Pity that they misspelled ‘Integrated’.

  3. Trust a copywriter to spot that. LOL. How you been, Daniel?

  4. Been good. Keeping busy and enjoying myself at BBH these days. You working with Tania at Ogilvy Digital Influence now? Say Hi to her for me! I love the stuff you guys get up to; count me as a fan. ;)
