telling time

Perfect for every retro junkie - a watch that literally tells time. As in, you know, speaks to you.
Engineered by Maywadenki, don’t expect to find an actual display of time, neither analog or digital. in this Zilhotch Retro Phone Watch. Instead, you are required to dial 117 to hear the time cited into your ear by some voice. Dialing the wrong number will result in the same voice telling you “We are sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service. Please check and call again.”. For deep sleepers like yours truly, you can also set this talking watch to wake you up each morning.
I have mixed feelings about this product. Priced relatively affordable at USD79.99, I do appreciate the quirkiness of this watch. That said, do I have time to make a call to find out what time it is? Definitely not a watch for the busy bee.
