anti system newspaper wallets

By Pat Law™ • Jul 19th, 2009 • Category: The Design Diva

Japanese eco-friendly label Anti System first caught my eye when it exhibited its newspaper wallets at Rooms exhibition in Tokyo. These wallets are handmade using Japanese newspaper extracts, laminated to house those moolah you have steadily, held together with a strap made from the tyre’s inner tubes. Be sure to check out the limited edition Michael Jackson collection too.

Retails at about USD60 onwards, although most items are already sold out. Still, check out their store at Tokyocube™. Who knows, you might get lucky the next time around.

  1. a creative way to make use of newspapers. I like the way how random articles are used to make the wallet. :)

Thanks for sharing the link pat!

  2. These look very good. Wanted to get a couple as “birthday present stash” but damnit, the designs I want are all sold out! Gah!
