elena gallen spoofs with style
By Pat Law™ • May 15th, 2008 • Category: The Dark OneI’m not a big fan of spoof t-shirt designs because often or not, they are worn by one too many average Joe and are awfully distasteful. No honey, wearing a t-shirt that says MASTURBATE instead of MASTERCARD does not make you cool. You may be excused for having bad taste as a teenager, but when I see adults wearing such low class t-shirts, I do sincerely question where the fuck they got their fashion sense from. Members of Parliament?
Perhaps Singapore needs to import more fashion stylists. You know what? Come and think about it, instead of teaching us how to date (seriously, I didn’t realise how pathetic we were until I saw this on JayWalk’s blog), I reckon you should have the likes of Marc Jacobs teaching us how to dress. How many local short farts have we seen lately in smart pants? Brother, if you have chicken legs for size, and Danny Devito for height, don’t wear smart pants can? You look like you have never graduated from junior high.

Anyway. I have finally found a designer who manages to not only spoof with style, but does so in a twisted manner. Everyone, meet Elena Gallen, a freelance artist from Spain. Be prepared to have your childhood memories thrown into her blender, minced into a perfect glass of sheer wickedness. I like.
