missing credit

the fella who fails to give me credit

While I am most pleased at the positive response gathered by far with regard to the Plurk badges I’ve created, I’m more delighted by the civility and respect given by those who have used my Plurk badges and credited me accordingly.

That said, there is always a thorn amongst the roses, eh? I’m utterly annoyed and disappointed in this fella here. Mate, if I may quote you word for word on your Plurk page, you have said:

Can someone make Plurk Logo 125×125? plz :-) with text “plurk me” ? I’ll give credit on LiveCrunch.com thx

Riggggggght. Some kind soul referred you to my blog and what do you do? You conveniently downloaded and used my Plurk badge WITHOUT A SINGLE CREDIT MENTION. How bloody hypocritical can you possibly get? Shame. On. You.

  1. Booooo!! Plurk you, Live/Crunch! (a bad immitation of TechCrunch if you asked me!)

  2. I see that that mother plurker has removed your badge promptly. Did he apologize for not giving you credit?

  3. Hmm. Thanks for the heads up, Martin. And no, no apology whatsoever.

  4. I commented at his page. What a douche.

  5. Daryl, thanks a lot dude… Appreciate it truly. :)

  6. [...] This very disturbing story came in my RSS feeds just before I left work. Remember the Plurk Badges made by PatLaw over at Blankanvas? [...]

  7. Been following your blog on the quiet… decided to speak up for you in this case. God, what treachery! That guy really left a bad taste in the mouth. Urgh.

Left a comment on his Plurk. Many would have read what you and UF wrote, and make their own conclusion. Karma, indeed!

  8. Hey Razlan..

Thank you for backing me up on this, its very heartwarming to know. You’re right – what really matters here is having the truth known, and let the rest make their own judgments.

It’s just so pathetic how cowardly some people can be. Tsk. Have you read the comment he boldly made on Daryl’s blog?

Say something.
