The replacement of gaps in one’s memory with fabrications believed to be true. Not sure how that works? Ask George Bush.
A satellite event for Singapore Biennale 2008, of which the theme is ‘Wonder’, Confabulation presents provocative works by artists who have explored different narratives of memories and perception. Be lead into the unfathomable realm of fading memories, challenge yourself to look back at evading moments within your own perception of ‘what is’ and ‘what was’.
Be sure to check out the world renowned installations by Central St. Martins School of Art graduate, Chris Levine. Exhibited for the first time in Asia (and hey, in our little island no less!), his stunning series of portraits of Queen Elizabeth II is certainly not to be missed.
Hurry along now to Collectors Contemporary, the exhibition ends this weekend. Details are as follow:
