in my humble opinion, those who hates your blog will never stick around to read, much less bother to spend time on a negative vote……..a poll held on a 3rd party website might give a better insight of blankanvas? =)
Hamie, I don’t think blankanvas has reached a stage of brand awareness by which it can be assumed that readers from another website, the one organising the poll, are readers of blankanvas. As such, a poll with the above mentioned statements would be invalid as the key assumption identified is that he/ she who polled, is a current reader of blankanvas. Great suggestion on having a third party engaged though. Now to find the money to commission AC Nielsen.

You’d be surpised how many people ’spend’ their time hanging around and spread their usually lovely, but in this particular case utterly agonising and negative vibes - just to ruin your/PatLaw’s day. Also, polling is always fun. Not much to do but a tick and a click. Admittedly, not representable poll, ethically questionable but we are not doing social science research here, are we now? (we?!)
