Instead of giving away gifts during the festive season (and then brag about it to the entire world in a full page full color advertisement like the rest of us), Mother London decided to give the 10 grand they have set aside to one person. One clearly naive person, that is.
An email crafted in the same way you’d see from some spam email from some businessman in Nigeria claiming that you’ve been chosen to receive the dosh, to a few hundred people. To redeem the dosh, one needed only respond with his/ her full name and bank account number. One person did.
