a fine fresh cut

I’m usually unimpressed with new blood, particularly because they tend to be a little too preoccupied with promoting their work, than their work itself. I see beautifully crafted creative rationale against complete crap produced. Hence, the discovery of this young 20-year-old graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, Lee Li Xian, is a nice surprise.

Proof that you don’t need a fucking degree from a chichi school like Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design to produce talent, or a self-coined pretentious name, Lee Li Xian illustrates, literally, what true talent is all about. Keep it going girl, I’d be watching you.
Her graduation collection of fabric can be found at BlackMarket, a new boutique most recently opened this month.
