  1. My biggest achievement? It has got to be winning a trip to Japan courtesy of blogging! I would love to get the Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket!

  2. This year I welcomed my first child into the world, got laid off and started a new job. I also implemented Getting Things Done, which so far has given me more time for the first item, prevent the second and help me kick some serious ass on the third.

  3. Oh, and I stupidly forgot to mention I'd love the "Color a Month" planner set.

  4. My biggest achievement this year would be having visited a children's home in Vietnam and come back a changed person with a tighter outlook on life and a grip on what I hope to do in the future. It may not be all bangs and dollar signs and might not seem like an achievement to other people, but it's something that I feel proud of myself for doing and stepping out of my comfort zone, and it's a huge thing in my life.

Oh, and I'd like the "Colour a Month" Daily Planner Pocket :)

  5. My biggest achievement of 2009 would be winning Dove Go Fresh Challenge! Without prior planning to making the short video, everything was basically impromptu, including the dance moves and guitar playing. As well as making it through 2 1/2 years of challenging Polytechnic life and trying out the actual working world now (without being a day late!).

Those Moleskine planners would sure look great in my bag :)

  6. My biggest achievement this year would have to be finishing my two years of school. Being a young mom to two fantastic kiddos, it's sometimes easy to want to throw in the towel because of hardships, but my perseverance has paid off and it feels amazing knowing I've not only enriched my life, but have also enriched the lives of my kiddos. It feels as though I've won the lottery…..and from the love and support of my friends and family through this, I think I have! Here's to an even better 2010 for everyone! Cheers!

  7. It definitely has to my recent evolution from a web designer into a social media executive. And getting myself into the >30k per annum income bracket

  8. my biggest achievement was finding my voice and finding out who I was. I just hit 30 and had quit a 3yr photography job and started doin what i loved all along; craft, making pretty (and sometimes useful) things for people to enjoy or admire.

  9. The biggest achievement this year has gotta be that crazy design which I created for the NikeID tee when I was still with Nike. The consumers always are suggesting that we have so limited designs that the NikeID boys decided that we should enhance the experience of our loyal Nike fans. We started to rip various decals and combining them together to form something else. It was so much fun and a real crack at the creative edge. In the end, I had a full splatter with the self made Nike pin-wheel at the front and a ‘robot’ with cursive font for the name at the back (right bottom corner). Creativity has no Boundries~ Just Do IT!!

I would like to have the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket Please! Thanks~

  10. I started my own blog about good things and spreading the good word! -)))

The Daily Planner will definitely help me keep my days in order and scribble down ideas or impromptu interviews.

  11. I could talk about gaining a foothold at work, but that satisfaction seems so transient.
I could say it's re-establishing contact with a friend I knew 15 years ago – and this is pretty damn close.
But my biggest achievement in 2009 is that I got out of an emotionally abusive relationship and learnt to love myself again.

  12. oh yea… and I prefer… this one…

    1. Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket

  13. Something I’ve obsessed about for years

that occupies my thoughts when my head's on my pillow

and makes me wake up with a start at 5am

its one of the passions that keeps me going.

Turning a long-time dream into reality:

    byNoelYeo.com

Without @patlaw, it would have remained a dream.

  15. Ma' biggest achievement is COMPLETING MA' 'O's!

&&& I would love to keep the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket!

  16. For the last few years, I told myself I couldn't run long distances because of a bad chronic knee injury. This year, I finally threw away this negative mentality and trained. Bit by bit, I strengthened my knees. Not only did I complete two 10k marathons, albeit very very slowly, I'm looking forward to more runs in '10. There's really nothing you can't do, if you want it to happen.

Pat, a Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket please! So that I can mark down my achievements for the next year.

  17. My biggest achievement for this year would be landing my 1st job after graduation at an AWESOME agency. In an industry when even getting a foot in the door is an almost impossible task, I consider this gift from the Universe. And at a time of turbulence, it’s a blessing.

    Desk Calender, Please! :D

P.S. Still in wonderment that I am ACTUALLY here. LOVES!!!

  18. My biggest achievement(s) this year:
Endured 450hrs of tutorials, wrote 18×2,000 word essays, lost 200hrs of sleep, saw a 50% decrease in social life, still keep a smile/laugh (most times) – Whilst keeping a full time job.

I would love a daily planner to keep my life (and sanity) in check. ;)

  19. *ponders* I think I did say my biggest achivevement this year would be that my younger brother and I were able to finally set aside our differences and are in talking terms now after 4 long years of silence, and what made us grew closer was something we less expected, Shana our syrian, after we got her both my brother and I started talking about, and we would play video games together, and the words exchanged now was more then the words that was said before the both of us during that 4 cold years. I'm glad and happy to be able to reconnect with my brother Spenser Lim.

If possible I would love to get the Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket.

    Thanks.

  20. My biggest achievement of the year:
I fell deeper than a crush with a guy but it turns out he's gay. I still believe that I love him. Even though there's no way we would work out, we became very good friends in school. My biggest achievement is when he accepted my friendship (he was uncertain what to do with our friendship then) and we are closer than ever now. :)

If I were to win, I am still thinking whether to give the "1. Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket" to him as his birthday gift.

No worries, even if I don't win it I will still support you :) Keep it going! :D

  21. My biggest achievement this year would be to find the courage to love selflessly. To accept things and people as they are and embrace the differences that make this diverse world beautiful.

And I'll love to embrace a Colora Month.

to finally land myself a job after months of frantic searching!
please…can i get the Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket! pretty pleaseee…

  24. My biggest achievement for 2009 was completing my final year of National Service, a time when the newer batches would look to us for guidance, for once really compelling us to be proper role models. Not because of patriotism or any high-flying ideal, but for the simple joy of adding value to one another's lives, of people interaction. I realised that it is our human relations that make the world so real and pleasant to live in, despite how we might be surrounded with unpleasant circumstances each day.

I'd love to have a Moleskine 2010 "Colour a Month" Daily Pocket Planner please (: thanks much!

  25. My biggest achievement? Getting back up on my feet despite being hit by waves of motherbad luck this year. I tell myself it's okay, karma will bite their asses for me! And 2010 will be my year. 29. Seeing how my boys overcome their fear and hatred for Chinese, seeing how their Ds and Fs evolved to As and Bs, seeing how the parents changed their skeptical tones to appreciative ones, seeing how much fun they have in learning. My students, my biggest achievement.

I'd love the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket.

    2 x 10km and a 21km
And best part, they are completed within my ideal timing! =)

  31. My Biggest achievement:
Would it be surviving a year in my company ? :P
Haha honestly, it would be educating and convincing a client to see the benefits of going digital :)
Getting the the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket would just be teh awesomeness :)

  32. My biggest achievement this year would be being able to keep up with the my fast pace working life as well keep up with my hectic schedules and appointments in the whole year of 2009 without a miss. It is all thanks to my desk Calender. I've started using a planner only this year and was mesmerised by how it kept me on track and reminded me of my appointments and important events. Everyday when I'm home, I'll update my Calender and get reminded of my tomorrow's schedule. Its such a handy life tools. However, this home desk calender is at home, sometimes its really inconvenience or even forgotten to update it once i reach home drenched with fatique.

Similarly this year, I need a gorgeous planner. I jumped at this chance…The Daily Pocket Palnner from Moleskine allows me to carry it anywhere not like my now-home-desk-Calender, thus tracking appointments and meeting made much more convenience thereby not forgetting or missing any important event out. in addition, it would definitely allow me to welcome 2010 readily with a smile as well as a good early Chirsmast gift closing the challanging and meaningful year 2009 of mine.

Thank you so much for giving us this chance!

  33. My biggest acheivement this year would be to tandem skydive 12,000ft in Queenstown, New Zealand. After 3mths of psycho-ing myself (chickened out twice – I’m on international student exchange to NZ), I finally did it. The feeling was amazing. Oh and I have an acute fear of heights – i pray that id never get the upper bunk whenever im staying at a backpackers.

I’d prefer the Moleskine 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner Pocket please.

    Thank you Pat! :)

  34. (im writing this in a cyber cafe and i think my comment might have been eaten up so id write it again.)

My biggest achievement would definitely be leaping out of a plane 12,000ft in the air. It took me 3 tries and 3months to psycho myself into doing the tandem skydiving in queenstown, NZ and i am glad i actually did it cos the feeling is just unbelievable. I have an acute fear of heights (i fear the top bunk of the backpackers!) so this was by far the biggest achievement that I have had.

i would love to have the Moleskine 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner Pocket please.

    many thanks Pat!

    Cheers!

  35. Getting my Class 2A and my first bike, a very heavy CB400 (180kg) for my 55kg frame. I'm going for Class 2 next year. Already bought my Ducati :)

  36. hi pat,
your post makes me think of what is my greatest achievement for the year… it is kind of early for a year-end reflection, but here goes:
despite of being in the army (finishing in a few days time), i was allowed the opportunity to do part-time studies. though army may not have the same rigours as a work life, i believed i did accomplish in attempting to study and work at the same time. that, in my view, is my greatest achievement for the year.

    cheers,
    robert

  37. sorry… i am so muddlehead.may i have the moldskin 2010 color a month daily planner pocket, please?
    thanks once again.

  38. I survived late-stage cancer in 2009. (Feel free to email for more information.)

Definitely (1) Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket. Thanks.

  39. Hey Sidney, am just a random passerby – but have to commiserate with you, because you are the first person I've come across who has had an experience similar to mine. The sibling cold war is indeed an issue that is not well-documented or widely discussed, and yet is capable of causing great pain to the family. Think of parents/othersiblings/cousins/aunts/uncles etc who have to deal with the fallout between two people they love. Not to mention the relationship between the siblings that goes to shreds.

I completely understand, cos I've been there before, and with a years-long timespan too.. Not proud of it in the least. But things have improved a lot since then between my sister and I.

Congratulations on this particular achievement – even if it goes unnoticed for the Moleskine thingy, I appreciate how difficult it was. :) Happy for you & your family!

And no, not really here for the Moleskine. Must be a first, harharrr.

  40. I think my biggest achievement this year is agreeing to go to a relative's house to stay for the next two years cause my dad cant support too many kids.so i am gonna be away from my siblings and dad. I am the eldest so i have to give in and man it sucks. Two freaking years… Anyways really hope i get the pocket planner.

  41. 2009 was rough. Told I would lose my job, spent 6 months in limbo. During that time I slowly realized that my life was all about work. I recently started jogging 3 times a week and feel empowered, better about myself. This month I will finally learning how to silkscreen!

If I win, I would love the ‘color a month’ moleskine set. Thanks!

  43. Heya Joy,

Thanks for sharing your experience with me, I didn't think that there would be some other with the same experience and now I know.

Because to be honest none of my friends really know what it was like, and no one could really do anything about it. But I'm glad thats all over now, and will treasure every minute and time spend with him. Because I have really miss him during those dark days.

    Thanks again Joy! :)

  44. My biggest achievement for 2009 is to have the courage to face my fears, insecurities and coming out of my closet. The result is an more confident and fulfilled me.

Thanks Pat, for posting this question. If not for it, I would not be looking back at 2009 to know what I've achieved.

I'll prefer the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket, if you find my piece good enough.

    Thanks!

  45. I was in a limbo in 2008, only doing temp jobs, working as a waitress, basically the jobs that doesn't require much responsibilities. The last job I held had left me burnt, and fearing work. I even toyed with the idea of going back to school and taking on another Diploma just to escape the work force for awhile. The pay was not too good, but I was happy. I had enough to feed myself, but perhaps not enough to buy nice clothes. It was when I dropped by Vivocity, saw nice shiny clothes, that I realized "damn, it's a nice bag, it's $100, and I can't buy it". Frivolous, I know, but I kinda woke up then.

I thought I should get my life back on track. My parents are not getting younger. Some friends have literally left, because I can't afford to live their kinda lifestyle. Those that stuck around are around the same as me. In a limbo.

So I shamelessly asked for a job at a tiny digital agency that was above the restaurant I was working at. I had a Diploma in IT, but haven't been making use of it since graduation. Didn't plan my career well. I asked for an internship position, because I wasn't confident enough since I haven't touched web technology for the longest time. Within a week of work, I was told that I couldn't make it I wouldn't survive there. Those were harsh words that made me cry, but I told myself to carry on.

I ended up lasting there for 10 months. There were some unpleasant moments during my work there that made me quit. But now that I have left the place, I've decided to look at the positive side. My time management skills have improved, I have more confidence in speaking. I have handed clients I never imagined myself to be able to take on, and it opened me to the world of advertising. Also got to know some people in the industry that have eventually became friends, and they have referred freelance jobs to me.

I guessed the achievement for 2009 would be the fact that I turned my life around. I'm 25 now. Albeit late, but never too late, I guess. :P

  46. My biggest achievement this year was finally acception my chronic migraine headaches condition and not letting it run my life. Even with migraines, I can still have a beautiful life and I'm looking forward to the coming new year!

I'd love to win the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket. Thank you so much!

  47. being the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college (RN, BSN) :)

Moleskine 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner Pocket

  48. I finished my first knitted cardigan! My dear brother is the proud owner. :)

The Color a Month planner is pretty sweet!

  49. I think my biggest achievement this year was just making it through! I deal with anxiety, depression and OCD on a daily basis, which makes normal, everyday activities sometimes very difficult. I usually do rather well, but this year has been so riddled by stress due to various things. On the positive side, I’ve learned a lot of new craft techniques and created some cool projects!

I adore the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket!

  50. My biggest achievement this year is adopting our kitten. We found her abandoned outside our apartment and took her in and gave her a home.

I'd prefer the color a month day planner.

  51. Love the "Color a Month!" This year I achieved a new job in the nonprofit industry – doing something I love!

  52. My biggest achievement for 2009 was putting the dirtbag drunk driver who killed my daughter in prison. It took two long years, during which I survived two strokes from stress, but I did it for my darling daughter, her surviving sister and all the other inocent people who might have been his next victom!

  53. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I would like the 2010 Color a Month daily pocket planner. I get a little intense when I talk about the accident and I tend to digress.

  54. My BIGGEST achievement this would be losing 50 pounds. Or at least that's what I hope. I'm at 48 now so if I don't make it to 50 I will be super sad. I'm loving the Color a Month Daily Planner.

  55. My biggest achievement is that I've lost 25 lbs since June!!! Go me!!! And uh, DUH, the Color a Month planner!

  56. My biggest accomplishment is finally figuring out what I want to do with the next stage of my life, and my, how a Color a Month Daily Planner would ease that transition :)

  57. My biggest achievement of the year was graduating from college in June with my degree, and then moving 3000 miles to New York to pursue a career in advertising. Moving away from my family and trying to find a job in this economy is tough, but I've grown up in the past 6 months more than I ever imagined.

I would prefer the daily planner. Thank you for the opportunity to win!

    kstreinz@gmail.com

  58. I proved to myself that I can be a captain and leader, that I can overcome depression, and that I can get As again in school.

  59. My biggest achievement for 2009 was to get married to my best friend and boyfriend of nine years. We have been dating since HS its been great ever since! Now I have a biggest achievement for 2010 also, because we are having a baby in March!

  60. My biggest accomplishment this year was just getting myself to try new things – things I never thought I'd do. Things like going to a gun range and shooting a weapon (terrifying). Or traveling internationally with only a carry-on (empowering). Applying and interviewing for a job I had no previous experience in – and did not get by leaps and bounds – but taught me a lot about interviewing in the Creative world (both terrifying and empowering). Taking classes in soapmaking, working on a stop-motion-animation film… and oh yeah, finally paying my library fines!

I'd love the color-a-month planner. In 2010, I'd really like to commit to writing more, and tracking my process in such a lovely set.

  61. My biggest achievement this year was finishing my Master’s degree while teaching high school full time. It took a lot of organization, a lot of patience, a couple tear filled can-I-do-this moments, and copious amounts of caffeine.

I love the Moleskin color a month set!

  62. Numba 1!! I love that "Color a Month" Daily Planner. And with a new photography business (greatest accomplishment of 2009), I could use the extra organization.

    THANKS!

  63. My biggest achievement this year was probably one of the scariest things I’ve had to do. I decided to follow my heart and not my head and switch careers. It’ll take just over 5 years before I can start doing what I know in my heart is my passion and what I need to do, but I’m willing to make that sacrifice (along with the huge financial sacrifice) to get there. I was in a great place in my previous career for someone who wanted it — doors were being opened for me and I was moving ahead in ways that were difficult to imagine… but it left me with this void that I couldn’t get over. I finally had a heart-to-heart with myself (and then again with close friends and family) and realized I needed to make the change. I’ve never felt so much relief and joy from a decision before so I know it was right.

I’d love the “Color a Month” set!

  64. My biggest achievement this year was getting my new condo in order. On the day my husband and I closed on our house I ended up in the emergency room and almost died. It took me 5 long months and 2 emergency surgeries, but I have finally gotten back to health and am ready to get organized! I would love to win the daily planner pocket to help me on my way!

  65. My biggest accomplishment this year was finding harmony in my life. Sounds simple, but I have a fast-paced and demanding career, newly married, and just moved after being disconnected from the world while in graduate school. It took time, but in 2009 it all came together – friendship, taking care of myself, finding my rhythm at work, and being a good partner. For so long, I looked for balance, that all should even out. This year, I found what it means to be happy with the choices I make in the moment I'm in. The Color-A-Month Daily Planner would be the cherry on top to a fantastic year and hopefully lead to mastering the art of organization in 2010 :) .

  66. I finished my master's degree this year while teaching high school full time. It took a lot of organization, some sleepless nights, a few can-I-do-this breakdowns, endless support from loved ones, and copious amounts of caffeine.

I love the moleskin color a month set!

  67. i think my post didnt appear that i forgot to mention id like the Colour a Month" Daily Planner Pocket :)

  69. my biggest achievement this year is that i followed my hert nd moved up to san francisco, a place love, to purse design and photogrphy, my passion.

i would love the color a month

  70. Finally getting over him and learning to do stuff that makes me happy! The "Color a Month" planner would help me plan all that stuff better.

  71. My biggest achievement this past year is being the mother to my growing, vibrant son, Micah. And learning to be comfortable in the decisions I make and not to doubt myself when making them. I would LOVE the color a month daily planner b/c I am busy, busy and have my second child on the way. It would be great to keep our family in order!

  72. My biggest accomplishment this year was breaking free of cult control and taking control of my own life and following MY dreams, including starting a freelance graphic design business.

I'd like the color a month planner.

  73. my biggest achievement this year is.. found my true love =)
and i would like to add Colors to my coming Months in 2010

  74. I would have to say that my biggest achievement is saying "yes" to my finace's proposal. I spent most of my life by myself and purposely dating the wrong men so I wouldn't have to trust anyone. After 26 years of failed relationships and being independent, I have finally learned to open up and love someone. Therefore, this has been my greatest achievement this year :)

    "Color a Month" planner please!

  75. My biggest achievement this year has been my work with my school's yearbook. I became editor last year and when my entire staff (save for 2 people and my assistant) quit, I basically had to make the entire book all myself. It was a long semester full of sleepless nights and so much stress! I'm glad to be done (but I start all over again this year…yay.)

  76. I turned 40 years old this year, left an easy job to start my own business, ran my first 1/2 marathon and completed a triathlon! I really like the first option and could use the monthly planners to help me grow my business and plan my workouts!
PS-I am not planning to complete a full marathon-people always ask that when you mention a 1/2. I think 13.1 miles is far enough for one day….

  77. Hmm, biggest achievement is getting 2 promotions this year, despite the recession! :) Love the 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner. Thank you!

  78. My greatest accomplishment in the year 2009 would be losing 7kg since started my training mid-this year. The "Color a month" monthly planner would be so useful for me because i have to keep a food and exercise log to show to my trainer. This gorgeous planner would come in handy to even record down my food log when im outside, or chewing a Mentos which i normally forgotten to record once im home and reaching for my current BIG food log.

If i get this planner, i would take it as a gift hence the level of motivation is higher and train harder as compared to the planner i buy myself – a gift would be more meaningfull and well-cherished. 8 more kgs to reach my goal…i need motivation from you Pat!

    Thank you in advance!

  79. This year, I began being friends with my little sister. We used to argue constantly, but this year I pushed aside my stubbornness and reached out- it's fun getting along! The "Color a Month" planner is beautiful… I'm obsessed with Moleskines but can't afford them! I'd love it!

  80. My biggest achievement was making it through another semester at college. I've never had so many things going on at once, with school, an internship and a job, the little personal planners would be perfect for me to keep everything in order! Thanks :)

  81. The birth of my daughter…she gives me so much inspiration each day

  82. My biggest achievement in 2009 was moving out into my very own apartment. It's expensive living on my own and I'm definitely not the world's best cook, but it's so worth it to have my own little sanctuary. I'd love the Moleskine 2010 color a month daily planners.

  83. The greatest accomplishment I achieved this year has been taking extra credits in school so I can graduate a semester early and save $10k. The moleskin 2010 color a month daily planner pocket would be great. Thanks!

  84. I had double knee replacement surgery and had three months worth of rehab. I go so hooked on rehab, that I joined our local YMCA and got my husband to go too. Now we work out together. I've turned into a gym rat. By the way, I love, love, love Moleskins and want the "Color a month" set. Please, please, please?

  85. This was a huge year for me. I started my fourth year teaching at a high school in a new city. I was lucky enough to get into one of the best schools in the city. I would say that my biggest achievement was figuring out what I wanted and going for it.

  86. One is climbing Teide (Tenerife, Spain) the highest point is Spain. I really feel proud of that.
Another one is keeping my old friends close to me, but this achievement is not particularlly of this year so… I would go with not dying organizing the 10th anniversary of my ngo, non profit organization, that will be next year and means SO much for me, 10 years of hard work.
Definetly the 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner would help me with putting everything down and remembering this special year that 2010 is going to be for me!

    Thanks!

  87. Oh, 2009. I was unhappy with my third year as a teacher in NYC, so I made the bold move to start looking for jobs in DC, where my boyfriend lives. I looked at only the best schools, hoping that I would find the perfect fit. After many hours on a bus traveling back and forth for interviews, I landed a job at one of the best schools in DC. I am very proud to say that I work at this particular establishment. And I'm closer to my boyfriend! My big achievement is having the courage to take that risk.

  88. My biggest accomplishment is passing College Chemistry. Five more semesters of Chemistry to go! :)

I would love to win the daily planner (Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket)

  89. My biggest achievement this year would be getting my teaching degree and then going out and doing my first days of substitute teaching. It was hard, it was scary, it was worth it. Those Color a Month daily planners would really come in handy for keeping track of my substitute days/schools for this next year!

  90. My biggest achievement was grading on to a law journal at my law school. It took a lot of hard work to have the GPA needed to make it, and it takes a lot of grueling work to stay on it. I would like the Color a Month set.

  91. Biggest achievement this year?
    Finally being honest with myself.
After 20 odd years of denial, I came out to my mom.
The resulting reaction wasn't very good but at least for once, it felt awesome not having to live a lie.

    p.s. I'd love a Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket =)

  92. I'm entering for my wife….. her achievement this year was being a kind mum to our two small children, being the boss of the kindergarten mothers organization (this is the most cut-throat organization I know!), and helping run the SEAsia development funraising group…. This must have been hard-work because this year was the first year in the last 4 where I haven't been at home everyday being a house-husband……..

The Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket would help her to look organized in front of all the other mum's at kindergarten and elementary school!

  93. My biggest accomplishment this past year was living frugally enough to afford to stay home with my two little girls. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

I'd love the little Desk Calendar.

Thanks for the chance, love Moleskin products.

  94. I cut some corners to help my business save some $$$ in order to tough out the economy. It wasn't a pretty, and it wasn't fun, but I made it.

  95. I was able to recover from a bad auto accident that shattered my right foot — took me only 4 months of intensive + frustrating physical therapy before I could actually walk again. Definitely my biggest accomplishment of 2009.

Love the 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner Pocket…

  96. Omg I totally need a moleskine!

Biggest achievement? Definitely getting back on my own two feet after a bad personal experience. This year has been an exponential curve towards happiness for me. It may not seem like an achievement at all to others but achieving happy works awesome for me. Now that I am happy, I want to achieve other things! The Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket would definitely be perfect for me to work towards all the colourful (haha!) goals and resolutions I have in mind. 2010 will be so freakin awesome. How do I know this? Things can only get better from here! :D

  97. hm, raising $10,000 to go to China. but that wasn't me, it was everyone who contributed. "color a month" please!

  98. My biggest achievement of 2009 was realizing how much my grandfather meant to me and thus, paying more attention to him, his needs and forging a closer grandfather-granddaughter relationship.

This came at the expense of my schoolwork (and GPA), career advancement, friendships, family relations, a relationship, rest and emotional Is-this-all-really-worth-it breakdowns.

But, through this and my love for him, I've emerged a stronger and more independent person. I've also been able to manage my time more efficiently and be able to prioritize.

I would love to have the Moleskine 2010 Color A Month Daily Planner Pocket as it would be my right-hand man in planning all that will happen in 2010. Furthermore, I dedicated a note on it on my Evernote after it first appeared on Blankanvas and I really love it! :)

  100. My biggest achievement is to move from a suit to a planner, no easy feat, surviving most of the year not working weekends and maximizing my efficiency over the weekday plus leading a balanced life between friends, dating, personal time and rest, i've definitely started living life to the fullest!

  101. My biggest achievement is to move from a suit to a planner, no easy feat, surviving most of the year not working weekends and maximizing my efficiency over the weekday plus leading a balanced life between friends, dating, personal time and rest, i've definitely started living life to the fullest!

    I love the first one!

  102. My biggest accomplishment this year was getting pregnant. It sounds silly, but between finishing grad school and student teaching, we had a very narrow window to get this bun in the oven. I'd like to say it was hard work, but really… it wasn't. We were just very lucky. I'd love the Color a Month planner!

  104. I landed my dream internship! I interviewed and worked really hard– and now will get to have an experience of a life time in Spring 2010. I would love to win #1 "Color a Month" as I am a huge fan of moleskin and your blog! Please pick me!

  105. My greatest achievement for this year was given a lot of opportunities to involve more in productions. I have been committing myself to theatre productions such as stage manager, with that, my schedule have been very packed in my planner this year. In order for myself to properly plan my schedule for this coming year and with hopes of involving more productions, i need a Moleskine 2010 Color a Month Daily Planner Pocket to help me this coming year! :D

  106. My greatest accomplishment for this year would be losing 7kgs since i started training mid-this year. “Color a month daily planner” would be so useful for me as i have to do “food log” and what exercise i did for the day, to show it to my trainer. I could bring along this planner everywhere i go, so that i could update my food log even at hawker centre or when munching a sweeet, which i normally forgotten to record.

The gorgeous planner would be so useful to me to keep track on my traning session and organise my weight-lost plans. In addition, if i get this colorful planner i take it as a gift and so the level of motivation to train harder is there. Copmared to a planner i buy myself – a gift would be more meaningful. 8 more kgs to reach goal…I need motivation from you Pat!

    Thanks.

  107. i forgot to mention id like the color a month daily planner. :)

But, through this and my love for him, I’ve emerged a stronger and more independent person. I’ve also been able to manage my time more efficiently and be able to prioritize.

I would love to have the Moleskine 2010 Color A Month Daily Planner Pocket as it would be my right-hand man in planning all that will happen in 2010. Furthermore, there’s a note about it on my Evernote after it first appeared on Blankanvas and I really love it! :)

    Kathlyn.

  109. My biggest achievement this year (embarrassingly enough), was to wean my daughter before she turned two. She was very premature, and is about the size of a nine month old, so it wasn't too wierd, but when I got the swine flu, and experienced complications with the virus, my husband insisted that this was my chance as I couldn't afford the loss in nutrients anyway!

I love the pocket keeper (color coded).

  110. 2009 was a year of self-discovery for me. Learning to love myself for who I am, and accepting that it's perfectly okay if nobody likes me just because I'm gay… that what matters is my family, girlfriend and friends all love me. And the love I've received for my birthday this year just proves that point further.

Hence, my biggest achievements this year would be a big stepping stone to self-discovery, me-lovin' and being a better girlfriend, friend, daughter, aunt, niece, student, gay girl to people around me. :) The Moleskine 2010 "Color A Month" Daily Planner for the new year would help me plan and manage my time to continue being a better girllll. Thank you!

  111. Trained a whole new team of folks in Manila for 4 months and had fun while doing it :) came back to Singapore and survived another transition! What a Year !!! A "Color a Month" Daily Planner would be awesome. Selamat Po !

  112. My biggest accomplishment was that I was able to help a girl. she was walking home with her dad and she was hit by a car. I kept her as calm as possible(first aid) and make sure she didnt move her neck until the ambulance got there

  113. We made it happen. We bought our first home back in February. It's a good feeling to have somewhere to call our very own. We've painted walls and built a picket fence. We've planted citrus trees and a vegetable garden. And for the first time we're living in a place that truly looks like us and feels like ours.

  114. Oops, PS: I really like the first option. Thank you for the chance!

    -Honor

  115. My biggest achievement this year was buying a new house in the country. It's just what I wanted – I have a place to create my crafts and a garden to grow – heaven!
I would love to have the Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket. Thank you!

  116. My biggest achievement of the year is how I successfully persuaded my boyfriend to propose to me, without him realizing it. As a result, we are now engaged.

My second biggest achievement of the year is how I successfully persuaded my brother and sister-in-law to procreate. As a result, I’ve become an aunt to a baby boy.

The art of persuasion – perhaps I acquired it. Perhaps, I was born with it. ;)

May I have a “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket, please?

  117. My greatest achievement.
    1. Quitting my job.
    2. Spending 1 month enjoying quality time with my friends.
    3. Travel with mom and dad after 10 long years. (My parents have recently gotten back on talking terms)

  118. My greatest achievement for this year was given a lot of opportunities to involve more in productions. I have been committing myself to theatre productions such as stage manager, with that, my schedule have been very packed in my planner this year. In order for myself to properly plan my schedule for this coming year and with hopes of involving more productions, i need a Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket to help me this coming year! :D

  120. i like the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket !

  121. Biggest accomplishment… Too many to pick! Buying my first house ever (totally on my own), renovating it, surviving open heart surgery at age 32… the list goes on! I'd LOVE the Color-a-Month planner! It is divine!

  122. My biggest accomplishment this year has been by far keeping food on the table and clothes on our backs! I am a stay at home mom of three great kids (10,8,3) and my husband is the only working parent. With the economy like it is I don't see how many 1 incme households are doing it. It is a constant, daily struggle to keep afloat and I see that as a huge feat that I have made it happen with good, nutritious, mostly organic food on the table every day for the kids and my husband. We just have to keep on going!

  123. My biggest achievement was having my daughter in May. Now back to work, its chaos handling the work schedules, doctor appointments, extra cirricular activities and everything else! I desperately need help keeping track of appointments and everything else!

  124. My biggest achievement this year was (and continues to be) getting 3 kids (ages 1 1/2, 3, and 4) to nap together in the same room. I know, crazy to even try. But I figured, why not? If they can build bridges like the Golden Gate, why can't 3 kids nap in the same room? I swore at myself the first day, thought (after the little monkeys had been chatting, dancing, and who-knows-what-ing for 40 minutes, and I had thighs of steel after climbing the stairs what must have been hundreds of times to say, "Settle down everyone, it's time to rest.") , "The nerve of you to think that you could do what few moms have done before." But alas, at minute 41, there was silence. Yeah, one wasn't even in her bed anymore, but she was asleep! It has taken them less and less time each day to fall asleep. Sometimes they revert back to the 40-minute disco session, but they eventually nap. Ah.

I sure could use the Color-A-Month daily planner to keep track of the kids' craft projects for when they're not napping. Thanks for the chance to win!

  125. I would like the moleskine daily pocket planner as well I forgot to add that I think

  126. My biggest achievement is more of an evolution, following my dream to start an agriculturally based healing center for individuals dealing with trauma or loss which you can read about here: http://thisamazingheart.com/
Let's see, if I'm chosen, I prefer the "color a month" calender.
    Enjoy reading through these entries!

  127. This year's biggest achievment has been starting a new job and managing that plus my 2 little girls! I'd prefer the daily pocket planner

  128. Until 5 minutes ago it was quitting my job and moving to NYC to work a 6 month internship with my all time favorite-hero- film maker.

Now, it may just be refraining from saying something nasty about the guy who just commented about sex with his ex-gf.

I'd love the color-a-month daily, please! xo

  129. My biggest achievement? Leaving a loser on the East Coast and coming back home to Chicago. It took balls, but I did it….and I am looking forward to a great holiday season back home with my family around! Thanks for this giveaway!

Would love, love, love the color a month day planner…I have been coveting that for a little while :)

  130. My biggest achievement? Dating again after a 10 year marriage dissolved. It was hard.

I like the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket

  131. My biggest achievement of the year was being in the longest relationship that I've had in my entire life! It's a blessing, sure, and this planner would sure help remembering all the romantic dates that we go on! I also got a puppy dog this year and he is doing great! What a wonderful year!

  132. my biggest achievement for 2009? too many actually;

but, this may sound cliche or lame, but….
getting my family to finally accept my boyfriend of 3yrs in my life. after fights, tears, explaining & screaming, i managed to convinced them this is the guy i want to marry.
why is this an achievement? because trust me, my family is not a bunch of people who are easy to convinced. now, i am in the midst of trying to convince them now that i want a career switch. =

i would love the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket.
to help me keep track of not only my appointment for work , him & family time but also appointments for my engagement. =)

  133. Graduating from college!

  134. My biggest achievement this year was booking my first modeling job with a celebrated photographer. I have been extremely patient and waited a long time for any work to come. I am only sixteen and still enrolled in high school, so as a consequence for finally getting to travel, model, and experience what I love to do, I have been extremely busy. Therefore, the planner would be a much appreciated present for me. Thanks for this opportunity and happy holidays!

  135. I have had several achievements this year including graduating university and starting a blog, but one thing I am particularly proud of is actually keeping up with a journal throughout the year. I have been attempting to keep a record of my days since I was about 6, and have a large box filled with books with about one months worth of writing. Thing year, however, I have not only filled an entire journal but also incorporated writing into my daily routine. Its really helped clear my mind, make me less irritable and stressed. Sometimes its the small accomplishments that are the biggest victories.

i would love the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket

  136. My biggest achievement this year is losing 40 lbs, so I can be around to enjoy life with my toddler, husband, and hopefully bring a new little one into this crazy world in 2010. I also have a new job, and need some organization. The color a Month Daily planner would be fabulous!

  137. "I'm 19 and for the first time, I'm out in this world on my own, living in a foreign land. It's been 3 months but aside from gaining independence, i've experienced the joy and melancholy of letting go, embracing change, and taking the underrated leap of faith."

Now that the 50 words are out of the way, 2010 will be the year i count my blessings (not that I already aren't)..but I'd like the Moleskine 2010 Desk Calendar (only cos Color a month looks a tad too popular) to log my daily happy moment…because we deserve to be happy every day :)

  138. My biggest achievement this year was not going absolutely nuts after the universe dumped all it's crap on my family. We are still standing and ready for 2010 to be our year. The Color a Month Daily planners should make make next year pretty as well.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  139. My biggest achievement this year was taking the LSATs!!! Ahh I love the "Color A Month" planner!!

  140. well, to sit down with myself (for very very long) and seriously come to terms that you can't have everything.

Certain times you want some things; other times you want this thing, or that thing; there are even moments when you want anything, for God's sake. But you're never going to be able to gather everything up, because our arms just weren't made big enough to hold it all, and that's the way it should be.

If not, you'd go mad trying to get it all and who in the world would stop to share if they had everything?

So the things I want and will be able to carry tight with me, will be my most important things. Which means, my 2009 achievement will probably lead to my 2010 achievement (laughs) because that's when I sit down (for very very long again) to figure out what exactly they are.

    ____

I'll hope for the "Colour a Month", thanks!

  141. I personally prefer the Color a Month set just because you'd have more room to write your appointments. My biggest achievement is being more patient with the young kids in my life. I've taken a more laidback approach, and I can have fun with them without stressing out.

  142. First year pre-school teacher. Enough said.

  143. This year, I was named the Best Collegiate Female Singer in the commonwealth of Virginia! I worked really hard to win the award, and was pretty proud of myself :)

    I'd LOVE number 1!

  144. For 09, I shared a lot of myself (my own knowledge) through my blog and got so much more in return. The Melly last year wouldn't have dared to. I used to think clinging onto what I have and know is my only advantage over others. NOT ANYMORE!

The Colour a Month Planner would be epic!

  145. losing weight and starting a blog! :) )) love your blog, btw — and moleskines are my favorite!
the color a month daily planner was always out my price range, but wowweee it's gorgeous! so i'd have to take that one please ;)

  146. Biggest achievement this year? Realising my own worth.

Next year, I want to start my own business, as well as a blog "you won't imagine being from Singapore". :P

A Moleskine 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Planner Pocket would be fantastic. All those ideas and plans have to be jotted down somewhere! My palm and serviettes just don't cut it anymore.

  147. Hardest thing I've ever done was bury my daughter this month. The New Year holds a lot of hope for my husband and I … planning is definitely such an integral part of the entire thing. I actually don't really care about winning this giveaway but liked the idea of asking people what their biggest achievement was for the year. Great thought and love your site!

  148. my biggest achievement this year is to go backpacking in thailand with only a week's notice and to take a boat out from phuket to racha yai and just freaking dive without a licence or even prior training. and still survive it.

Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket would allow me to jot down even more spontaneous activities for 2010! heh :)

  149. My greatest accomplishment this year was graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from college! Becoming a social worker has been my goal since I was seventeen years old and am so excited to finally be on my way! I am now searching for a wonderful world-saving job as a social worker and could really use a BEAUTIFUL planner to help me, like the "Color a Month" daily planner. =)

  150. My greatest achievement in 2009 was, I finally figured out 'what I want to be when I grow up'! As a university student, people ask about my career plans all the time and I was starting to wish, not that I had an answer to their question, but simply that this sort of pressure wouldn't be put on young people (I'm only 21!). But, instead of searching for a job, I searched myself for a passion. I like kids, I like language, I like helping people. While I am proud to tell people I am now pursuing a career as a speech therapist, the best part is how much fun I'm having on the path on my TO my career, learning more each and every day.

  151. I forgot… I love the Color a Month! So pretty!

  152. This one is tough. Since I lost my job over 6 months ago due to the horrible state of the U.S. economy, I have had a pretty tough time remaining positive. However, I would have to say that it was quite an achievement for me NOT to have given up. Instead, I have been working on starting my own Recruiting company. Although I have not yet made any money, I did land my first client last week — which was a HUGE achievement!

Thanks so much for the fabulous giveaway – I would be SO thrilled to win the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket!

  153. My biggest achievement was finishing law school and passing the bar exam. HOORAY!

I would LOVE the color a month planner!

  154. Ho ho ho! Thank you Pat for organizing this giveaway & Chronicle Books for sponsoring (: Your giveaways are awesome!

My biggest achievement this year was deciding to go on a sabbatical and by doing so, I changed my life.

In February, I quit my day job in corporate finance in a huge MNC because I no longer wanted to be a faceless email address.

I did what I was good at: writing and shopping.

I wrote about things I love (retail guides) and things I didn't like so much (tech products) and then realised that writing about things I hated was still shiok because I enjoyed the act of writing itself.

I shopped and shopped: I funded myself and bought only things I love, photographed them and created a site to sell them. Lo and behold, everything sold out and I started earning an equivalent monthly paycheck of my previous day job.

I did things I never dared to before: I travelled on my own for a month in Japan, I gave talks (one as a guest speaker at a polytechnic), I pushed myself to be an extrovert and met beautiful and interesting people.

I'm now in the phase of dreaming and brainstorming new ideas for 2010: I'm learning to dream deep and do so much more. But always, always, I intend to be hedonistic and DO WHAT I ENJOY.

So, a desk calendar will be an awesome companion.

  155. My Biggest Achievment this year was having my son and watching him get stronger. He was born at only 2 lbs. I had alot of complications, but we are both here and doing very well. He is now up to 17 lbs and a very healthy 9 month old. The 64 Days he spent in the hospital was very tough. I am very greatful we are both here.

  156. I left my girlfriend a year and a half ago. I started the trouble by cheating and then lying, which led her to abuse I felt I should allow, but eventually made me realise I couldn't do it anymore.

Walking away from her was easy, walking away from death was harder, but I knew all along, I needed to tell her I was sorry for what I had done.

I followed my gut and went to her place one night, with the sole reason of saying I'm sorry, face-to-face. She didn't pick my calls, so I dropped her a message, hoping she'd reply. She said: "What do you want", and so I told her.

It is slightly over two months since then, and we are now back together, with cans of worms to fight, alongside all the usual disagreements.

We're doing well so far, and we seem to have grown up apart. Hopefully, we grow up together now. I have made peace with my future, and my past.

    * I'm hoping for the daily planner. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

  157. My biggest achievement of the year may just run into 2010, so I guess i'll be considered a cheat. I quit my sweatshop of an agency with no job lined up. I have rejected a job offer from an MNC because i refuse to lower my standards of working in yet another mindnumbing & spineless sweatshop. 45 days of joblessness & counting.

Perhaps i'll need the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pocket to continue counting my days of joblessness in 2010, or maybe it'll be for a proper agency with standards! *cross fingers & toes*

  158. This year I moved from OKC to Austin, TX with my boyfriend, without knowing a single soul in the state. There were times when I yearned to move back home, but I'm so glad I stuck it out. I am now helping other students create theater and I am thriving!

Coincidentally, I have been lusting after the "Color a Month" Daily Planner for quite a while now. My New Year's resolution is to be more organized, and that is just the most colorful way to get it done!

  159. My biggest achievement this year has been paying all of my regular monthly bills ontime. No late fees or overdraft charges for me!

I would love the Color a month daily pocket planner. :)

  160. Do I have to pick one? It has been a banner year for me, after a tidal wave of bad luck. My biggest accomplishments this year are getting married (finally) to my boyfriend of over 6 years, finishing grad school for the second time to become a Special Education teacher, and ACTUALLY getting the first SpEd job I applied for. Good year!
I would love the Moleskin 2010 "Color a Month" Daily Pocket Planner, if I win. Thanks!

  161. I saved enough money to sponsor a child in Guatemala, Togo, and Afghanistan. I've been passionate about world poverty issues for a long time but I finally decided to put my money where my mouth was. I could use 2010 color a month calendar because I am going to become an advocate for poverty stricken people in my area and need to meet with them once a week and hopefully it will keep me organized. I think the world can change by empowering those who need help up.

  162. My biggest achievement was getting through the year with my sanity intacy after the death of my dad, favorite aunt and kitty, 3 surgeries in our house, a 15% pay cut and my hubby still looking for work. Even with all this stuff, I realize that life is good and that I have much to be thankful for.
If I win, I would LOVE the purse planner!

  163. My biggest acheivement is surviving after my husband's affair this year.

  164. My biggest achievement is running my first 5K . I know it doesn't seem like much for some people, but I was training in the midst of moving my family to another state and getting everyone acclimated to a new home. I really enjoyed the solitude and "me" time when I was training. I think that's what helped me keep my head screwed on straight during a very chaotic time. That, and I'm a consumate list writer, so the Moleskine 2010 “Color a Month” Daily Planner Pockets would be perfect for me! :)

Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  165. my biggest achievement this year was definitely making a long pending move to a new city, new delhi. a new life, a new start, a blank canvas to paint wonderful achievements upon!

i prefer the "Color a Month" but the "Desk Calendar" is equally wonderful!

  166. My greatest achievement this year is finding that life’s greatest things are not things rather it’s the journey we embark ourselves upon. We find so many ways to measure ourselves to standards in society which often looks at how much we earn per annum, the material things that we have or even what position we are at our work place, which in a way is society’s way of categorizing us of our competencies. When was the last time one stood still to see others and really see them for who they are? When was the last time one stopped to take a deep breath? Has achievements been degraded to the number of deadlines that one meets in a week, month, year, etc? To finally realize that there is more to life than work and that comparing my progress to others is not important anymore but rather understanding that each day has it’s time limitations and you work with the time you have to make memories that will mean something to you taking in the good and the bad. To realize that living means staying alive one day at a time.

I prefer the color a month daily planner.

  167. My biggest achievement this year was quitting my day job to embark yet on another start-up journey. 10 months ago I left my first semi-failed start-up to see how its like working for The Man. To summarize in one word, it was unfulfilling.

A few months back my pal back from University and I put a business presentation together and pitched to MDA iJam fund. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Two months later we have seed funding in the bank and I'm back for another round of start-up marathon and loving every second of it.

Singaporeans really need to get over their fear of failure and go create something out of nothing.

Oh and I prefer the Daily Planner.

Merry xmas and happy new year to all!

  168. Hi Naria,

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter and I admire your courage and optimism. May 2010 be a good year for you and your husband.

  169. i managed not to fuck up the year either personally or online for the world to see. it's all about karma so be a good person and good things will happen to you… so we'll see what 2010 looks like to see how i did in 2009 :)
