i think i’m turning japanese

By Pat Law™ • Feb 13th, 2010

The theme was I think I’m turning Japanese (after that one-hit wonder from the 80s for you little ones who don’t know), and I’d have you know my committee members worked really hard to make this happen. I went as a soiled underwear vending machine. I’m stoked the vending machine sold out on its thongs. And to think my customers were all females. Imagine that.

lust sundays: the aftermath

By Pat Law™ • Dec 5th, 2009

Had fun catching up with familiar faces at the launch of Lust. Be there for the next one, on the last Sunday of this month.

slinging it

By Pat Law™ • Oct 21st, 2009

The last time I’ve caught a basketball game, Charles Barkley was fit and Jason Kidd was a swinging single. Yes, it was THAT long ago. Watching Kobe shoot a couple of hoops didn’t quite count as a game as much as I’ve enjoyed it. Needless to say, watching Singapore Slingers battle out against Philippines Patriots took me by surprise.

Diesel’s Fall Winter 2009 party was good fun. It was raining gorgeous men and women, and we were drowning in endless flow of Veuve Clicquot.

By Pat Law™ • Aug 14th, 2009

Great to have the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention back again. Even better to see our home boy Andy of TOYSREVIL with his very own booth and exclusive YOKA. I’ve bought me two of them bitches, with his autograph, but of course.

and so the pink dot was born

By Pat Law™ • May 18th, 2009

Were you there with us on Saturday making history in Singapore’s first-ever official LGBT public gathering? Well, about 2,500 of us were. It’s been fun. It’s been good. It’s great to watch my country progress, slowly, but surely. Well done, boys and girls, straight and gay.

blackberry storm launch party

By Pat Law™ • Apr 18th, 2009

The BlackBerry Storm launch party was held a couple of nights ago, at the ohsolush Supperclub. As a result of circumstance, I was literally in bed with an ocean of gorgeous people. One can’t complain much about such situations. Besides, Jack and Rai were superb.

kumar stripped bare alright

By Pat Law™ • Mar 25th, 2009

I usually do not bother to review a performance after its run. Kumar’s latest stand-up comedy, Stripped Bare and Standing Up, was different. I’ll have you know that I walked out of the theatre that evening darn proud of being a Singaporean.
